Reflexology works to treat the body by applying gentle pressure to the reflexes (nerve endings) found in the feet or hands…releasing any blockages of energy flow that may have occurred. In this way, it can be used to help alleviate many symptoms, ailments or tendencies, as well as to enhance the immune system and general well being.

How can reflexology help me?

Reflexology is beneficial for many people experiencing many varying conditions or ailments. As well as being relaxing, the effects of reflexology are long lasting.

It is almost like an in-direct manipulation, in the sense that you are very subtly manipulating the nerve endings in the foot, which in itself is like a map of the body. Each area of the foot corresponds to every part of the body, and hence by working on the nerve endings in the feet, you are re-channelling that energy flow through the body, and getting each body part to work in tune with all the other body parts.
